Playful Boy Describing About Don’t Be Idle Read and Enjoy-

Rajan was a playful boy. He loved to remain idle. He did not pay much attention to studies. He liked to sleep for long hours. Every day his mother forcibly sent him to school.

One day he left his home for school. He changed his mind and went to a park. He sat under the shade of a tree and waited for someone to come. He wanted to play with someone in the park. After some time, he saw a dog coming towards him. As the dog came near, Rajan said, “My dear friend, come let’s play together “Oh no, said the dog, I have to look after my house. My master has

gone out for a couple of hours. Saying this, the dog ran away.

Rajan was lonely again. After some time, a bee came there. Rajan called out, ‘come honeybee, my sweet bee. Please come and play with me.

“No, dear! I am not free. I have to suck the nectar and go back to the hive Saying so, the bee flew away.

Then came a pigeon flying. Rajan called the pigeon, dear pigeon come here. Let us play for a while. I promise we will enjoy it a lot!

‘No, no, said the pigeon. I have to collect grains and feed my young chicks

The pigeon said after a moment, why don’t you go to school and study? This is not the time to play. You can see around you. Everybody is busy doing something or the other. This is the time to work. Foy you, this is the time to study. The pigeon flew away to its nest.

Rajan felt ashamed of himself. He found that all were busy with their work. He realised that to idle away the time was foolishness. But he was quite late, so he was afraid to go to school.

He was thinking hard while sitting under the shade of the tree. He saw his uncle coming towards him.

His uncle said, ‘Rajan, why are you sitting here?’

Rajan started crying. He sobbed, ‘Uncle, I didn’t go to school. I shall not do it again!

Uncle patted Rajan, wiped his tears and said, ‘Rajan, come with me. I will take you to school. I will talk to your teacher. I’m sure she will be kind to you.

But promise, you will go to school everyday and work hard. Remember playing is good but not at the cost of your studies. You play with toys. Your toys have nothing to do. They are lying idle where you kept them. They don’t have to go to school or study. They don’t have to worry about their future. They don’t worry because they don’t grow. But, son you have to grow and become great for that you have to study.

My uncle took Rajan to his school. Uncle talked to the class teacher for some time, The teacher came smilingly towards Rajan and allowed him to sit in the class.

Uncle said, ‘Good Luck, Rajan’ and left.

How restless an idle person becomes! Rajan’s restlessness made him a sincere boy. He started using time in studies, games and other useful activities.
